Hi,

Whenever we configure new plants it is best to copy the plant 1000 for
Indian organizations and 0001 for US or other. If we configure the plant by
using the above the plant details gets updated with standard SAP tables.

Both can be done; however, if there is already an existing plant there is no harm copying it.
