The demand you see in MD04 will no longer be linked to the original Purchase Order. We have had these instances a few time in our company.

SAP Note 115899 details report SAP have provided to clean up
Subcontracting Requirements due to a number of reasons.
If you run program RM06C020 it cleans up these anomolies.
