Hi Tony,

I would suggest to activate either user exit or BAdI for this validation.

Cheers,

Subject: Maximum Order Quantity Error Message

Dear MM Guru's,

I would like to maintain maximum order quantity in purchase info record. So that while creating a PO for an article more than the maximum order quantity system will throw an error message. I want
that warning message to an error message. And I could make that to error through a standard config change.

My concern is that, in PO if I'm giving a duplicate line item for an article, system is not throwing that error message. For example, max order qty is 100 CAR, and in one PO I'm giving this particular article as two different line item as 100 and 100 ( total 200 ) system is not throwing an error.

Can any one help me out for a solution?

Thanks,
Tony Paulose
