We store our GTIN in Material master, additional Data under tab Units of measure and additional EANS.We have GTIN for both the consumer unit as well as the Outer carton and even inner pack if necessary. All these are linked to the unit of measurement set up.

My company need to comply with some requirement and now we have to store in
some way a GTIN (Global Trade Identification Number)
in the material master data.

In the basic view there a field to store the EAN/UPC and I wonder if other
company store the GTIN in this field?
our GTIN is 14 long and EAN/UPC can hold upto 18

the other question I have is, if this field is used to store GTIN where do
you store the EAN number?
