Hi Amar, It is actually possible to change the base unit of measures but it is a pain. Basically SAP asks that you have 3 periods with no movements and that you have no "orders" (sales/po/production etc) outstanding. So its almost impossible in the practical world. Far easier is to create a new part number, change BOMS and transfer all the stock to this. You need to educate your teams, the base unit of measure must be the stocking UOM as you are able to have altenative UOM's for purchasing and selling. Mark
