This is a SAP gap. I've run into it a number of times. Most of the time going back to the client and pointing out that they would need to re-label product to satisfy the food safety folks anyway makes it go away. If that doesn't work.... 309 it to another material comes to mind, or doing a batch split and manually overriding the exp. date on the batch for the product in low temp storage. This could be done as a user exit on mb doc create if the requirement was needed

Hoping someone has some knowledge. We are a food manufacturer (PP-PI). A material such as cream cheese may have a total shelf life of 60 days from GR under manufacturers recommended storage instructions. However, once that cream cheese is opened the shelf life diminished significantly even when stored accordingly. Does SAP have anything that would allow a 2nd or even a 3rd remaining shelf life based on the material condition or storage location of the material? All responses are welcomed, even the jib-jabs :-) | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
