Hi Shilpi,

Was this issue resolved? My client is requiring the same functionality and I couldn't find anything even in service market. Were you able to do this for your client? Will really appreciate if you could share how this was resolved.
Thanks!

Hi Murty,

May I ask what was the note you recommended to Shilpi? I am also faced with the same requirement.

Thanks in advance! :)

Subject: Cancel PR Release

Dear friends,

Current scenario to cancel the PR & PO release are as follows in my system:

Cancel PR Release
? Three level of release is available B2, B3 & B4.
? First all three codes release the PR, Status was 2 (RFQ/PO).
? If B2 will cancel his release then approval of B3 & B4 will also got rejected. Status is blocked.
? If B3 will cancel his release then approval of B4 will also got rejected but approval of B2 will be valid. Status is blocked.
? If B4 will cancel his release then approval of B2 & B3 will be valid. Status is blocked.

Cancel PO Release
? We have 3 level of release for PO: B1, B2 & B4
? First all three codes release the PO, Status was R (Released).
? Then B1 cancel his release. But B2 & B3 releases did not get cancelled. Status is B ( Blocked)
? B2 cancelled his release. But B1 & B3 releases did not get cancelled. Status is B ( Blocked)
? B3 cancelled his release. But B1 & B2 releases did not get cancelled. Status is B ( Blocked)

Now please tell me which scenario is correct?

My analysis says that "Cancel PR Release" is correct & we should change in "Cancel PO Release".Please correct me if I am wrong, theses chnages should be implemented by changing the release prerequisites in PO release strategy.

Regards
Shilpi
