From within MB03 display, use menu path Environment --> Material document for material, and open the latest document with movement type 101 / 105. You will see PO number.

you are right, that is where the PO number should be, but the (Service) Order number is there instead.

Looks like I am going to have to ME2N each Mat Doc No.
