All. It is quite possible to have more than one HERS material master to a
single material master, without having to use AMPL. The use of Approved
Manufactures Parts List just allows for tighter control of what is allowed
in PR/PO processing and should only be used if you want to set conditions
on which vendor/mfg are allowed to provide the material ordered.

There are other software that can fit this business need since SAP cannot such as I2. While you can link multiple HERS parts to a SAP material, I do not believe you can have more than one active HERS part per material. However, it has been R/3 v4.7 that I last used AMPL functionality with POs.
