To get the item in there automatically you can consider a BOM. as you have mentioned the warranty is sold with the MAIN material.

Pricing:
1. You can just include it as a condition if you want and the in the SO / IV form you can have the developer force print a dummy material in the print form with the special warranty condition value.

2. Enter the Warranty material once in the SO, use a special condition type for warranty that reference the MATNR field and create the condition record. In the pricing procedure use a calculation type that uses NET VALUE "komp-netwr" and multiplies it by your agreed %. You then have the warranty in the SO. If needed you can enter the warranty material per material, and this is why I suggested a BOM.

Hope it helps, mark as helpful.

Subject: How to price warranty in SAP SD?

Hi experts,

Our company sell products and the related warranty to client. the price of warranty is a certain percentage of the product. how can i use SAP SD pricing procedure to handle it. for example, we sell a machine to a client. if the client buy a 1 year warranty, we charge the client 5% of the machine price as the warranty fee. so the warranty price bases on the main product.

thanks a lot,

Grant
