You might want to check out tcode fmmc (going by memory) which permits mass purchase req as well as PO close. It is a tcode used by funds management module but has cross module impact.

How to cancel / close purchase requisition in mass within given period ?
If the condition or situation is.
1] PR Type is NB and ST.
2] PRs are not executed partially.
3] PRs are not executed fully (not converted to PO).
4] PRs open partially or fully, its PO is open partially or fully, invoiced on GR.
4] NB type PRs are created through MRP run and old PRs to close or short close.
5] NB type PRs are created through Project Module.
6] ST type PRs created manually for MATERIALS as well as SERVICES.
In above condition can I close or cancel those PRs forcefully in SAP ?
