The VSR (Vendor Sub Range) is more for Purchasing master data at the Vendor Master level.


For example, if a vendor supplies electric appliances (e.g. bulbs) and also consumer appliances (e.g. washing machines), both may have different purchasing data. To elaborate:


a) Different contact persons from the vendor side for each product range


b) Different terms of payment.


c) Different Inco terms


What you require would probably be met using partner functionality.
