Automatic Info Record
If you do not want to maintain a information record manually it can be created automatically by system during the maintenance of a quotation, a purchase order or an outline purchase agreement. Ordering data is updated automatically in the info record.

InfoUpdate
If you want to update or create the information record with every change in purchasing document or with every new purchasing document (quotations, scheduling agreements, contracts, and purchase orders) you can do so by choosing the InfoUpdate field in the purchasing documents. By choosing this field you can specify that whether you want to create or update the information record. Once you have selected this field the system will automatically update the existing information record in the background if there is no information record exit then system will create a new information record. The order price history is updated automatically even if you do not set InfoUpdate.
